Rising Through the Ranks
Over the years, Caroline’s hard work paid off. By 2019, she was promoted to Warranty Manager, now overseeing warranty operations across North America. Her role is dynamic and challenging, involving the review of warranty data, problem-solving, and close collaboration with teams across multiple departments and dealerships. Caroline credits her success to the support from her manager, Jody, and the camaraderie within her team. “When I feel overwhelmed, I break tasks into manageable pieces, often using Franklin Covey time management techniques,” she shares. Her favorite company value? Continuous Improvement. It’s a principle she lives by every day, striving to be better tomorrow than she is today.
Professional Growth & Development
Leavitt Machinery’s commitment to learning has been instrumental in Caroline’s development. She has completed several programs, including Lean Six Sigma, Franklin Covey training, and a Leadership program. These experiences have equipped her with the skills to lead with confidence, and she’s proud of how the claims model she helped develop has become a benchmark for manufacturers. Beyond her work at Leavitt, Caroline is always learning. She frequently listens to the “How I Built This” podcast and follows thought leaders like Simon Sinek for inspiration.
The Heart of Teamwork
Caroline emphasizes that the true key to her success is her team. “We are a unified group, combining the experience of seasoned professionals with the fresh ideas of newer members,” she says. This blend of perspectives drives innovation and improvement in their warranty processes, benefiting both dealerships and customers.
Life Beyond Work
Outside the office, Caroline enjoys live music, English football (a proud Tottenham Hotspur supporter!), and spending time at her trailer in the foothills of Mount Baker with her son Ronan, partner Neil, and dog Walter. A fun fact about Caroline? She once lived on a sailboat in Tenerife, running whale and dolphin charters during the week and game fishing trips on weekends!
Looking Ahead
Caroline sees herself continuing to make impactful improvements in warranty operations, helping Leavitt Machinery grow and evolve. Her advice for new starters is simple but powerful: “Embrace the learning curve, ask questions, and take full advantage of the support network here.”
