The 60th Annual Knox Mountain Hill Climb is Almost Here!

The Leavitt Machinery Knox Mountain Hill Climb kicks off this May 20th-21st in Kelowna and we are proud to be the title sponsor! Come out to this family-friendly event for car enthusiasts and watch cars and drivers be tested on this 3.5 km vertical climb course. Boasting 10 major turns, this course climbs 800 vertical feet and each car is run one at a time to ensure maximum speeds in the race to reach the top. The driver with the fastest time will earn the title “King of the Hill” as well as bragging rights! On the short straights, cars reach speeds of 160 kph and more!

In addition to the hill climb, on Saturday the Annual People’s Choice Show and Shine takes place from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM and car enthusiasts from all around the region come and pop their hoods to earn your vote! While you take in the classic cars and impressive trucks, enjoy the Bavarian Gardens, open from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, and come see the Leavitt Truck’s smoke-show!

The Leavitt Machinery Knox Mountain Hill Climb is a proud supporter of Sunshine and the Kids Cancer Care and throughout both days, several “Hands Together for the Cure” rides will take place up the mountain for those who donate. Click here for more information.
