Over 7 years ago, Christina joined the Marketing department in a role that perfectly aligned with her responsibilities as a mother. Leavitt Machinery’s flexible work environment allowed her to balance her professional and personal life seamlessly, ensuring she could drop off and pick up her two children from school while contributing significantly to the company.
Background & Journey:
Christina began her journey at Leavitt Machinery when she was offered a position working from 9 AM to 2 PM within the Marketing department’s Data team. These hours were ideal for managing her responsibilities at home. Over the years, Christina’s role has evolved significantly. Today, she manages a Data team of four, oversees all promotional items across multiple locations, handles marketing inboxes and leads, and organizes marketing team events. "I love the many hats I wear," Christina says. "I'm a born multitasker, and having multiple tasks keeps my ever-busy brain occupied!"
Day-to-Day Life:
In her current role, Christina’s day is filled with diverse responsibilities, from managing her team’s tasks to overseeing sales leads boards and handling promotional updates. On challenging days, Christina stays motivated by taking breaks and approaching tasks with fresh eyes later. "If I still need help, my management team is always there for me," she shares.
Christina is particularly proud of managing all marketing promotional items, ensuring each piece aligns perfectly with the company’s brand and messaging.
Team Dynamics:
When asked to describe the team culture in three words, Christina chose "Reliable, Encouraging, & Empathetic." A memorable bonding moment for Christina was the Marketing team’s Christmas gingerbread building event. "It was a fun afternoon with lots of laughs and teamwork," she recalls.
Her team’s support has been crucial in her professional growth, with continuous learning and mentorship opportunities. Leavitt Machinery has always promoted in-house talent, providing Christina with the training and growth opportunities she needed.

Recently, she’s been delving into AI Technologies and is excited about the potential it has for the business.
